Hey everyone, I just bought an old refurbished Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12, but I’m having trouble finding out what version I have. I’ve looked in the Help files and the Quick Start guide, but can’t find anything that would help me figure out the version.

Are there anybody who knows what version code Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 has, please let me know. I've purchased a refurbished one and my serial number didn't seem to work. That model is either SPFN12.0,.1, or.2 - I'm hoping it's the latest.

If I am correct, you can purchase a used version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 for cheaper than the new retail version. It looks like it is used at the moment but you might want to check with the seller to make sure if it is fully functional & in mint condition. The price is $149 for 12' version. I believe it is still being sold on eBay by PrMac.

I’m now searching on eBay to buy a used version of Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12. I’ve been informed that the new version of Dragon is relatively cheap. It is a refurbished one and licensed. On the other hand, I’ve been told that the used version is relatively expensive. You should make an effort to see if the seller is willing to sell the license, otherwise you may need to purchase this version. If it is the version you require, just wait for the seller to respond.

Dragon works very well for me on my new MacBook Pro, both in my home and while traveling, with its macbook pro keyboard, but I still use the traditional punctuation key system. You might want to look for a keyboard with macros for the different commands in case you don't like the way your keyboard is labeled.

First, download the update from https://www.dragon.com. It is a small file. Run it to install and restart Dragon. You should now have 11.0.0 or 11.0.1 software running. The database will be updated.
